Wenger: no Henry return
Arsene Wenger has confirmed that he will not make a move for the reportedly unhappy Thierry Henry. The Frenchman has grown frustrated with his opportunities at Barcelona, and there had been rumours of an Arsenal return.
âThat is not something I am considering right now,â he said on Friday. âHe seems totally happy at Barcelona. He is currently exposed because the team has had the opportunity to fight back for the title but have not taken their chances.
âHe wanted to leave (Arsenal). He played out eight seasons out and it was maybe his last opportunity for him to go elsewhere.
âI wish to see Thierry Henry win (against Manchester United). I think that Manchester United are the super favourites. But Barcelona remain Barcelona. They are capable of anything.â
