Arsenal set asking price for Folarin Balogun
Arsenal have prepared to demand at least £8m to part ways with Folarin Balogun during this summer's transfer window.
The 19-year-old has not made a competitive appearance for the Gunners, but he has fared impressively at the junior levels.
Balogun registered 38 goals and eight assists in just 41 appearances for the Under 18s. He has since bagged 12 goals and four assists from 29 outings for the Under-23 side.
According to Sky Sports News, Balogun is likely to be sold in the coming weeks after refusing to sign a new contract beyond the summer of 2021.
Both Brighton and Brentford are interested in signing him and it is reported that the Gunners want at least £8m to part ways with his services.
Balogun has been offered a new deal with an improved salary package, but he is said to be determined to play regular first-team football elsewhere.
Aside from Balogun, Ainsley Maitland-Niles has also been linked with a summer exit, having struggled to command a regular starting spot.
