Arsenal keen on signing Real Madrid attacker?

Arsenal are reportedly interested in landing the signature of James Rodriguez, who could be available on a cut-price deal from Real Madrid this summer.

The Colombian has completely fallen out-of-favour at the Bernabeu and he was restricted to only 14 appearances across all competitions for the club last season.

Atletico Madrid have been fancied to land his signature this summer, but AS claims that the Gunners are desperate to get their hands on Rodriguez as they aim to improve their creativity in the final third.

Rodriguez made just one appearance for Los Blancos following the coronavirus lockdown and he was not included in the travelling squad to face Manchester City in the Champions League yesterday.

He was valued at around £40m during the 2019 summer transfer window, but he could be available for just 50 per cent of the figure with Los Blancos aiming to recoup funds for new signings.

The Gunners have been linked with a number of forward players this summer and reports claim that they are set to sign Willian on a free transfer this month.
