Arsenal dealt transfer blow over Dani Ceballos?
Arsenal could miss out on re-signing Dani Ceballos next season with the Real Madrid hierarchy prepared to reintegrate him into their first-team plans.
Ceballos had a good season on loan with the Gunners where he made 37 appearances and he was impressive alongside Granit Xhaka in the midfield.
Earlier last month, it was reported that the Gunners were confident of re-signing the midfielder on a fresh loan deal with the option to buy.
However, there has been no progress towards the rumoured deal and ESPN claims that the club are now facing the prospect of missing out on his services.
Los Blancos' hierarchy believe Ceballos can fit into Zinedine Zidane's plans and they are prepared to involve him in their pre-season where his performances will be analysed.
Should he impress, he could feature for Los Blancos next term and that would be a blow for Mikel Arteta, who has expressed his desire to work with Ceballos.
