Watford star open to Liverpool transfer
Watford attacker Ismaila Sarr has opened the possibility of joining Liverpool during the current transfer window.
The Senegal international signed for the Hornets in a club-record £30m deal from Rennes last summer and had a decent debut season where he contributed five goals and four assists from 27 league games.
With the Hornets now relegated to the Championship, there has been the speculation that he could return to the Premier League with another side and the Reds are regarded as one of the favourites to sign him.
Speaking to San Limites, Sarr said that everyone would love to play for the Merseyside giants when asked about the reported interest from Jurgen Klopp's side.
"Liverpool are a really great team, everyone would love to play there. They won the Premier League this year and the Champions League last year. But there are other great teams in the English league," He told.
Sarr is currently valued at £40m and it is reported that the Reds may need to offload Harry Wilson and Xherdan Shaqiri to sanction a deal for the winger this summer.
While Sarr would prefer an instant return to the Premier League, he has said that he would be happy to play in the Championship, suppose the Hornets decide against his sale.
