Gabriel Magalhaes undergoes Arsenal medical
Arsenal are set to announce the signing of Gabriel Magalhaes from Lille with the defender having undergone a successful medical at their training base.
The Gunners agreed on a deal worth £27m for the centre-back earlier this week and the defender has since travelled to London for the medical tests.
According to Fabrizio Romano, he has now completed the necessary formalities and will put pen-to-paper on a five-year contract with the north London giants.
Gabriel, however, won't be allowed to training with his new teammates for the next fortnight as he needs to go through the mandatory 14-day quarantine period.
The defender has joined the Gunners from France, which is currently under Britain's quarantine list and he won't be given an exemption to work with the Gunners.
Gabriel is set to become the club's second major signing of the summer after the arrival of Willian on a free transfer from Chelsea. The Gunners are still keen on signing Atletico Madrid midfielder Thomas Partey.
