Manchester United boss keen on signing Norwegian striker
Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is reportedly keen on signing Bournemouth striker Joshua King this summer.
The Norway international was fancied to join the Red Devils during the January transfer window, but they could not strike a deal with the Cherries.
Hence, Odion Ighalo was signed on a temporary basis from Shanghai Shenhua until May before his contract was extended for another eight months.
According to The Athletic, King is keen on a return to the Premier League and he has the preference to join the Red Devils, where he started his career.
It is added that Solskjaer is open to landing his services, but the club's hierarchy have yet to decide whether to make a formal offer.
King is currently valued between £15m to £20m and he was recently fancied to join Aston Villa before their record purchase of Ollie Watkins.
Watkins has made the switch to the west Midlands outfit after a top season for Brentford, where he bagged 26 goals in the Championship.
