Arsenal have not made any bid for Celtic star
Arsenal have not made any bids for Celtic striker Odsonne Edouard unlike stated by a number of media sources.
The Gunners have bolstered their attack this summer with the arrival of Willian on a free transfer, but they are still aiming to add another creative player to the squad.
In the past few days, it has been claimed that the club have made a bid of around £20m for Edouard and reports have also suggested that he could replace Alexandre Lacazette, who could head for the exit door.
However, according to The Athletic, the north London giants have not made any kind of approach for Edouard and the marksman is likely to stay put with the Hoops for the season.
Meanwhile, there has been much speculation regarding the future of Lacazette, but the Frenchman has emphasised that he has no plans of pursuing a fresh challenge away from the Gunners.
Gunners boss Mikel Arteta is also satisfied with Lacazette's influence in the team and the 29-year-old has started the new season on a good note by finding the net in the 3-0 win over Fulham.
