Juventus focused on signing Chelsea defender

Juventus will reportedly focus on landing the signature of Emerson from Chelsea before the transfer window concludes next month.

The Italy international has been fancied to leave the Blues this summer after the arrival of Ben Chilwell from Leicester City.

Inter Milan have been regularly linked with his services in recent weeks, but they have yet to make a formal offer to sign him.

It is now reported by Gazzetta dello Sport that the Bianconeri have joined the race and would prefer to land him on an initial loan.

Alex Sandro is currently the first-choice left-back for the Turin giants, but he could be out of action for somewhile with a thigh problem.

Meanwhile, Mattia De Sciglio is out-of-favour under Andrea Pirlo while Gianluca Frabotta is still fairly inexperienced at the senior level.

Any move for Emerson may coincide with the departure of De Sciglio. The ex-Milan man has been linked with both Roma and Villarreal.
