Liverpool to offload three players before deadline
Liverpool have reportedly concluded their incoming transfer business for the summer and will now focus on offloading some of their out-of-favour players.
The Reds have signed three players in Kostas Tsimikas, Thiago Alcantara and Diogo Jota this summer and there has recently been speculation that they could land either Ismaila Sarr or Ousmane Dembele.
However, according to The Liverpool Echo, that is unlikely to happen, given the Merseyside outfit have no plans to make any more signings before the transfer deadline.
Instead, they will be aiming to balance their books with the departure of the likes of Marko Grujic, Harry Wilson and Rhian Brewster. They could, however, include a buy-back clause for Brewster.
The Reds have started their defence of the Premier League title with back-to-back wins. They have the opportunity to continue their 100 percent record when they host Arsenal at Anfield on Monday night.
Liverpool have been on the losing side of the previous two meetings against the Gunners and that includes the Community Shield defeat via a penalty shoot-out.
