Chelsea agree personal terms with Declan Rice
Chelsea have reportedly agreed personal terms with West Ham Unitd midfielder Declan Rice.
The Blues have already spent more than £220m in the transfer market to sign as many as seven new players.
They are aiming to end their spending spree with the purchase of Rice, but they have yet to finalise an agreement.
According to Nicolo Schira, the west London giants have finalised terms over a five-year deal with Rice.
However, they have yet to reach an agreement over the transfer fee and that remains a major stumbling block.
Their opening bid of £45m was instantly rejected by the Hammers and it may take more than £70m to convince them into a sale.
Rice is understood to be keen on a return to the Blues, where he spent eight years in the youth system.
His arrival could pave the way for the departure of Jorginho, who is reportedly attracting interest from London rivals Arsenal.
