Liverpool make transfer decision on Ismaila Sarr
Liverpool have officially ended their interest in signing Ismaila Sarr after landing the signature of Diogo Jota from Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Earlier this month, the Reds were heavily linked with the Senegal international with reports claiming that they could prise him away from Watford for around £35m.
However, the Merseyside outfit ended up signing Jota from Wolves to bolster their wide attacking department and The Independent claims that has ended their pursuit of Sarr.
Aside from Jota, the Premier League holders have made two more signings in the form of Kostas Tsimikas and Thiago Alcantara. They have no plans to make further additions to the squad.
Instead, they are considering the sale of out-of-favour players and reports claim that the likes of Rhian Brewster, Harry Wilson and Marko Grujic could head through the exit door.
Wilson is currently attracting interest from Aston Villa. Meanwhile, Brewster is on the radar of Sheffield United. Grujic has been linked with a potential return to former club Hertha Berlin.
