Barcelona make fresh offer for Manchester City defender
Barcelona have reportedly made a fresh approach to sign Eric Garcia from Manchester City.
The young centre-back has declined to sign a new contract with the Cityzens and his current deal expires at the end of the season.
Hence, there has been speculation regarding his future and reports have claimed that the Blaugrana could re-sign their former youth graduate.
According to Cadena SER, the club are in constant contact with the Cityzens and they have recently made a fresh move for the defender.
The Blaugrana are willing to offer £7.26m upfront for the Spain international with a further two add-ons being paid at a later date.
However, the Cityzens are likely to turn down the proposal from the Catalan giants as they are reluctant to accept anything less than £20m.
Guardiola's side have recently signed Nathan Ake and Ruben Dias to boost their options at the heart of their backline.
Still, they appear content to keep Garcia for the final year of his deal unless the Blaugrana are prepared to meet their demands.
