Fulham to sign William Saliba on loan?
Fulham are looking to secure the signature of William Saliba on a season-long loan from Arsenal.
The Frenchman joined the Gunners from Saint-Etienne last summer, but he was instantly loaned back for the 2019/2020 campaign.
Earlier last month, he played in a couple of pre-season games for the Gunners, but he has yet to make his competitive debut for them.
According to Goal.com, manager Mikel Arteta is open to parting ways with the centre-back on a temporary basis such that he can earn first-team experience.
It is added that the Cottagers are leading the race to sign him. The west London outfit are desperately on the search for central defensive reinforcements before the transfer deadline tonight.
Aside from Saliba, they have been credited with an interest in Jean-Clair Todibo and Omar Colley, but neither of them appear likely to join them before the international transfer window closes.
Arsenal are expected to make their fourth major signing of the transfer window tonight. Atletico Madrid midfielder Thomas Partey will make the move to the Emirates in the coming hours.
