Manchester United are unlikely to land the signature of Jadon Sancho from Borussia Dortmund when the international transfer window reopens in January.

The England international was the club's top target for the summer, but a transfer failed to materialise after they refused to meet Dortmund's £108m price tag.

According to BILD, United may return for Sancho's services at the turn of the year, but Dortmund are unlikely to entertain the forward's departure midway through the campaign.

It is added that the Bundesliga outfit won't change their stance even though the Red Devils are prepared to meet their £108m asking price for the 20-year-old attacker.

United signed two young wingers in Facundo Pellistri and Amad Traore before the international transfer deadline. Traore will join the club only in January due to passport and work permit issues.

Pellistri has, however, been included in the club's Champions League squad alongside fellow summer signings in Donny van de Beek, Alex Telles and Edinson Cavani.
