Thomas Partey in line to make Arsenal debut
Arsenal's new signing Thomas Partey is likely to make his debut against Manchester City in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.
The Ghana international joined the Gunners before the international transfer deadline, but he thereafter linked up with the national team.
Earlier on Wednesday, he made his way to London Colney to complete his photo-shoot and he was recently involved in his first training session.
Gunners head coach Mikel Arteta has not given any indication whether Partey could make his debut, but Football.London suggests that he will make his Premier League bow.
Partey has previously spoken about the prospect of playing alongside Granit Xhaka in the centre of the park and that could be a possibility on Saturday afternoon.
Still, it remains to be seen whether he will make his Gunners debut from the starting lineup, considering he has had limited time with his new teammates to adapt to the style of play under Arteta.
