Ole Gunnar Solskjaer hopeful Manchester United duo will be fit to face Chelsea
Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is hopeful that Harry Maguire and Mason Greenwood will be available for Saturday's Premier League clash against Chelsea.
Greenwood and Maguire have returned to training after overcoming their respective injuries and Solskjaer has revealed that a late fitness test may determine their involvement against Frank Lampard's side.
"We’re still hoping Mason and Harry can be available in the squad. Of course, we have a training session today [Friday], so they’re going to have to go through that," He told MUTV.
Elsewhere, Eric Bailly and Jesse Lingard are definitely out of contention with knee and hip concerns while Anthony Martial is also expected to miss the encounter as he is serving the second game of a three-match ban.
United had the upper hand over Chelsea last term with three wins to one and they did the double over them in the Premier League. Their only defeat came in the FA Cup semi-final where they were beaten 3-1.
