Antonio Conte eyes reunion with Chelsea trio

Marcos Alonso, Olivier Giroud and Emerson have been constantly linked with a move out of the Stamford Bridge after finding game time at the west London side limited since the arrival of manager Frank Lampard.

Marcos has not featured in any game since the return of fully fit Ben Chilwell with Emerson being the preferred back up to Chilwell and Giroud suffering the same fate as Emerson due to the summer arrival of German international Timo Werner, further pushing him down the pecking order.

Inter Milan's CEO Beppe Marotta has said he's on the haunt to sign at least two new players during the January transfer window. The club are looking to sign a new full back and a striker due to injury scare suffered by Romelu Lukaku, who was sidelined for matches against Parma and Real Madrid.

Conte has been a firm admirer of Olivier and would be quick to snap up the World Cup winner as backup for Romelu, should he be available during the transfer window in order to ease the burden on the Belgian. The Italian boss seems to have little confidence in Andrea Pinamonti as the former Genoa striker has been benched for the last 2 games against Parma and Real Madrid.

Emerson, who has also found game time hard at Chelsea, also fuelled speculation during the transfer window that he might return to the Italian top flight, saying he was very happy there.

With limited game time at the Bridge, the trio (Giroud, Alonso and Emerson) may be on their way out of the Bridge with Inter Milan being their next destination.
