Arsenal receive injury boost on Thomas Partey?
Arsenal have received a potential injury boost on midfielder Thomas Partey, Goal.com reports.
The Ghana international sustained a thigh injury during the 3-0 league defeat to Aston Villa on Sunday and he was substituted at the halfway stage.
The Gunners have yet to provide an update on the midfielder's injury, but Goal.com reports that he has not suffered any major setback.
It is added that the midfielder won't link up with the national team and will aim to return to action after the international break.
Partey recently produced a standout performance against Manchester United where the Gunners picked up a hard-fought 1-0 win.
That was followed by a disappointing 3-0 loss to the Villains where they were simply second best throughout the 90 minutes.
The north London side are already six points adrift of the top of the standings and four behind the Champions League places.
They will face newly-promoted Leeds United on the road in 12 days' time.
