Tottenham Hotspur offered chance to re-sign playmaker
Tottenham Hotspur have been offered the opportunity to re-sign midfielder Christian Eriksen from Inter Milan in January.
The Denmark international entered the final six months of his Spurs contract in January this year and that saw him sold to the Nerazzurri before the winter transfer deadline.
Eriksen has since struggled to claim a regular starting role under Antonio Conte and it has been reported that the club's hierarchy were responsible for purchasing him rather than the Italian.
According to Football Insider, the former Ajax graduate could be heading out of the Nerazzurri at the beginning of the year on either a temporary or permanent deal.
Spurs are one of the clubs, who have been offered his services, but it is unclear whether they will consider re-signing him after the nature of his departure.
Inter are looking to recoup the entire £18m fee paid for his signature, but they are also willing to accept a short-term loan with the option to buy at the end of the campaign.
