Manchester United are reportedly exploring the option of re-signing Cristiano Ronaldo from Juventus at the end of the campaign.

The 35-year-old has been with the Bianconeri since the summer of 2018 when he made the move from Real Madrid for around £100m.

He has since scored 71 goals from 94 outings and 58 of those goals have come in the Serie A, which he has won in the past two seasons.

According to Fox Sports' Christian Martin, United have joined Paris Saint-Germain in the forward's pursuit and they could approach to re-sign him.

Ronaldo will enter the final year of his contract next summer and it is reported that the Serie A holders would be prepared to negotiate with the Red Devils.

Ronaldo spent six years with the Red Devils between 2003 and 2009 where he contributed 118 goals from 292 appearances in all competitions.

He won three Premier League titles and one Champions League crown and was voted the Ballon d'Or winner for the first time in 2008.
