Manchester United keen on signing French striker
Manchester United are understood to be admirers of Moussa Dembele and could make an attempt to sign him next year.
The Frenchman enjoyed a superb 2019/2020 season with Les Gones where he contributed 24 goals across all competitions.
He has yet to get off the mark this year from 10 appearances, but he continues to be linked with the elite clubs.
According to Manchester Evening News, though, the Red Devils could make a move to sign the marksman in the coming transfer windows.
Dembele spent time in the Fulham setup before heading for Celtic few years ago and he would qualify as a homegrown player if signed.
West Ham United have also been credited with an interest in Dembele, who could be available for around £30m.
A mid-season deal may be unlikely with Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas recently ruling out the sale of first-team stars in January.
Memphis Depay, Houssem Aouar and Dembele may have to wait until next summer to pursue fresh challenges elsewhere.
