Everton interested in signing Brentford striker?

Everton are reportedly mulling over a potential move for Brentford striker Ivan Toney.
The 24-year-old joined the Bees from Peterborough United in the summer as a replacement for Ollie Watkins, who made the switch to Aston Villa.
He has since made an instant impact with 13 goals from 15 league outings and that has helped the club break into the play-off positions.
According to Calciomercato, the Toffees are monitoring his performances and are contemplating whether to make an approach for his signature.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin has stood out for the Toffees with 13 goals this term, but Carlo Ancelotti wants a quality backup in the ranks.
Cenk Tosun has failed to impress since his move from Besiktas two years ago and it is claimed that he could be sold to raise funds for Toney.
The Toffees started the season in fine form with four wins from four league games, but they have won just two of the next six matches.
Hence, they have dropped from the top spot to eighth on the table and are now five points adrift of league leaders Tottenham Hotspur.
