Martial, Cavani unavailable to face Leipzig

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has confirmed a double injury blow ahead of the club's Champions League clash against RB Leipzig on Tuesday night.

The Red Devils are currently tied on nine points with both Paris Saint-Germain and RB Leipzig, but they are trailing the former due to the head-to-head away goals.

They are scheduled to face Leipzig on the road in the final group stage game and need to pick up at least a draw to reach the round of 16, suppose Les Parisiens avoid a defeat against Istanbul Basaksehir.

Ahead of the game, Solskjaer has confirmed a double injury blow with both Edinson Cavani and Anthony Martial not part of the travelling squad due to minor niggles.

Meanwhile, Fred is suspended for the game after his red card against Paris Saint-Germain, but David de Gea (knee) and Luke Shaw (hamstring) are back in contention after overcoming their respective injuries.

"David (De Gea) is back in travelling, Luke (Shaw) is travelling. Edinson and Anthony, they've only minor niggles but they won't be making the trip," He told via the club's official website.

United beat Leipzig by a 5-0 scoreline during the reverse meeting at Old Trafford. They were only 1-0 ahead until the 74th minute after they which they scored four quick goals.
