Wout Weghorst promised Spurs transfer, if asking price is met
Wolfsburg have promised Wout Weghorst that they would sanction his departure to Tottenham Hotspur, if their valuation is met.
The Dutchman has been a consistent performer for the Wolves and he has already scored 13 goals in all competitions this season.
According to Bild, Spurs are keen on signing the 28-year-old next month as they look to boost their chances of winning silverware this term.
Weghorst is likewise eager to link up with Jose Mourinho's side, but he won't be allowed to join them unless the £32m price tag is met.
The marksman arrived at Wolfsburg from AZ Alkmaar two years ago and he has since registered 51 goals from just 97 appearances.
That is currently his best tally for any club and he appears keen on taking up a bigger challenge by moving to the Premier League.
At 28, Weghorst does not have much time on his hands to secure a move and he will be hoping that Spurs agree to meet the asking price.
