Arsenal plan bid for Brighton & Hove Albion midfielder
Arsenal are reportedly monitoring the progress of Brighton & Hove Albion midfielder Yves Bissouma ahead of an approach in the summer.
The 24-year-old has been heavily linked with several elite Premier League sides, but so far, there have not been any former bids on the table.
According to Football.London, the Gunners are keeping tabs on the Mali International, but may not make an offer until the end of the current campaign.
It is added that Bissouma would favour a move to the north London club, given his close relationship with ex-Lille teammates Nicolas Pepe and Gabriel Magalhaes.
Mikel Arteta's side are reported to have made contact with Bissouma's agent, but a formal approach may not be made until the summer with the focus presently on signing a creative midfielder.
The Gunners were heavily linked with Norwich City playmaker Emiliano Buendia earlier this month, but a deal appears unlikely as the club can't afford the Canaries' £40m asking price.
