Tottenham Hotspur make Gareth Bale loan decision
Tottenham Hotspur have no plans of keeping Gareth Bale at the club beyond the current campaign.
The Welshman returned to Spurs from Real Madrid on a season-long loan last summer, but he has since managed only 161 minutes of league football.
According to The Times, the club's hierarchy have not been satisfied with the impact from Bale and they are unlikely to extend his temporary deal.
Hence, he is likely to return to the Bernabeu in the summer when he will enter the final year of his contract with the Spanish champions.
The 31-year-old has bagged three goals from 12 appearances in all competitions for Spurs this term.
The most important of those came against Brighton & Hove Albion where he scored the winner in the 73rd minute.
Bale will be aiming for his first league appearance since mid-December when Spurs face Sheffield United tomorrow.
Spurs are currently sixth on the Premier League table with 30 points, two adrift of the Champions League positions.
