Arsenal keeping tabs on in-form Championship striker
Arsenal are reportedly monitoring the progress of Brentford striker Ivan Toney with a view to a future approach.
The Gunners have witnessed a change in fortunes in recent weeks and they have picked up 10 points from the past four league games.
They are looking to sign a creative midfielder this month, but The Express claim that the club's scouts are keeping a close eye on Toney.
Toney made the switch to the Bees from Peterborough United last summer and he has been a huge hit with 16 goals from 22 league games.
His progress has already caught the eye of multiple top-flight clubs and the Gunners scouts have been impressed by what they have seen.
The club are not planning any move for Toney at the moment, but a summer deal could be on the cards, should Alexandre Lacazette head for an exit.
The Frenchman's current deal expires at the end of the season and so far, there have been no talks regarding an extension.
