Georginio Wijnaldum makes decision on his Liverpool future
Dutch midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum is prepared to snub fresh contract talks with Liverpool as he has made his mind up to join Barcelona in the summer.
The 30-year-old's current deal with the Reds expires at the end of the season and it appears that the midfielder is determined to move on.
According to The Express, Wijnaldum has no desire to negotiate a contract with the Reds and he is looking forward to joining Barcelona on a free.
The midfielder has a good relationship with Blaugrana boss Ronald Koeman, having previously worked together in the Netherlands setup.
Elsewhere, Wijnaldum is looking forward to accompanying his compatriot Frenkie de Jong at the heart of the Blaugrana midfield.
Aside from Wijnaldum, Memphis Depay could also make the switch to the Camp Nou when his Lyon deal expires in the summer.
Depay came close to joining the club during last summer's transfer window before the move fell through due to financial constraints.
