David Moyes speaks on Declan Rice's future
West Ham United manager David Moyes has insisted that there has not been any contact with either Chelsea or Manchester United over the midfielder's future.
The England international is regarded as one of the first names on the Hammers teamsheet and his performances have grabbed the attention of elite Premier League sides.
Both United and Chelsea have been touted to sign him this year, but Moyes has emphasised that neither club have communicated with the Hammers regarding a possible transfer.
"They're not true, we've had no contact from either of those clubs regarding Declan and we wouldn't want any anyway. He's turning out to be a really good player but also a really good boy and good around the club," He told Amazon Prime.
Rice has played every minute of Premier League football for the Hammers since the start of last season. He has impressed with his leadership and has been handed the captain's armband on numerous occasions this term.
The 22-year-old should feature for the east London outfit on Tuesday night when they host West Bromwich Albion. The Hammers could jump upto seventh on the table with a win.
