Arsenal need to pay big to land Buendia

Arsenal may have to pay around £50m in order to prise away Emiliano Buendia from Norwich City during the current transfer window.

The Gunners have recently improved their league fortunes with 13 points accumulated from the previous five matches.

Emile Smith Rowe and Bukayo Saka have particularly excelled, but the club are still on the hunt for a new creative midfielder.

Buendia's name has been regularly mentioned by the media and Sky Sports News claims that the Gunners will have to pay big to land him.

Canaries boss Daniel Farke has recently stated that Buendia will definitely stay put as the club look to secure top-flight promotion in the first instance.

Still, it is reported that the club may change their not-for-sale stance, suppose the Gunners are willing to pay between £45m to £50m for the player.

That appears unlikely to happen with reports emerging that the Gunners may not afford more than £18m and prefer an initial loan deal.
