Romelu Lukaku on Man City radar

Manchester City have identified former Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku as a possible replacement for Sergio Aguero.

Aguero's current deal with the Cityzens expires in the summer and he has been widely tipped to return to his native Argentina.

Borussia Dortmund's Erling Haaland has been widely mentioned as a target, but The Athletic claims that Lukaku is also on their radar.

The Belgian left the Red Devils for Inter in the summer of 2019 and he has since bagged 54 goals from only 78 appearances.

He still has more than three years left on his contract with the Nerazzurri and the Cityzens may have to pay more than £100m to sign him.

Aguero has been a wonderful servant for the Cityzens over the past decade where he has gone on to become their all-time top scorer.

He has, however, struggled with multiple injuries over the past year and has made just nine appearances in all competitions this term.

Hence, the club are lining up a replacement and it remains to be seen whether they can lure Lukaku back to Manchester this summer.
