Paris Saint-Germain could compete with Manchester City in the race to sign Romelu Lukaku in the summer.

Lukaku left Manchester United for Inter Milan during the 2019 summer transfer window and he has since registered 56 goals from 78 games.

A recent report revealed that the The Cityzens are lining up a move for Lukaku this summer with Sergio Aguero likely to leave the club at the expiry of his contract in June.

However, according to Calciomercato, Les Parisiens are said to be monitoring the situation and could make an approach, suppose Kylian Mbappe heads for the exit door.

Mbappe has only 17 months remaining on his contract and he has been heavily linked with a move to Real Madrid. The Frenchman is still mulling whether to sign a new contract.

Aside from Lukaku, Pep Guardiola's side have Erling Haaland of Borussia Dortmund and Inter Milan's Lautaro Martinez as the striker targets. Martinez appears likely to stay put as he is close to signing a new deal.
