Real Madrid set their plans for Martin Odegaard
Real Madrid are prepared to integrate Martin Odegaard into their first-team plans following his loan stint at Arsenal.
The Norwegian joined the Gunners on a six-month loan from Los Blancos last month and he has since made six appearances.
Odegaard has yet to contribute a goal or an assist but he has shown glimpses of his quality in the lead-up to a few goals scored.
Gunners boss Mikel Arteta recently talked up the prospect of Odegaard staying longer with the club but Los Blancos have different plans.
According to AS, the Madrid giants consider Odegaard as a big part of their future plans and are closely assessing his performances.
It is added that the 22-year-old will be reintegrated into the first-team squad and they have no desire to offload him.
That could be a potential blow for the north London side, who were reportedly aiming to extend his loan deal for 12 months.
The Gunners were heavily linked with Norwich City's Emiliano Buendia last month and he may re-emerge as an option this summer.
