Man City determined to land Erling Braut Haaland

Manchester City are reportedly determined to beat the likes of Manchester United and Chelsea in the race to sign Erling Haaland this summer.

Haaland is one of Europe's best young strikers and he has amassed 27 goals and eight assists from only 26 matches for Borussia Dortmund this season.

The 20-year-old has a release clause worth £68m on his contract but that does not become active until the end of the 2021/22 campaign.

Dortmund are, however, willing to sell him prior to that and multiple reports suggest that a fee of £100m could be sufficient to do business this summer.

According to Eurosport, the Cityzens are determined to pursue the marksman amid interest from the likes of United, Chelsea and Barcelona.

Pep Guardiola has had a sour relationship with Haaland's agent Mino Raiola but the Spaniard is prepared to sort the differences to sign the Norwegian.

Haaland has been identified as a potential replacement for the club's all-time top scorer Sergio Aguero whose contract expires in June.
