Man City receive Erling Haaland transfer boost

Manchester City have received a boost in signing Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland, who is also on the radar of Chelsea and Manchester United.

The Norwegian is one of the best young strikers at the moment and he has netted 29 goals from just 28 games for Dortmund this term.

His current deal has a £68m buy-out clause which does not become active until June 2022, but reports claim that he could be sold this summer.

Dortmund are aiming to command at least £100m and The Athletic claims that the Cityzens have received a boost in the player's pursuit.

It was recently reported that the club may struggle to land the 20-year-old due to Pep Guardiola's poor relationship with super-agent Mino Raiola.

However, it now appears that Haaland's father Alf-Inge is the main representative and the Cityzens won't have any issue in the negotiations.

Alf-Inge played for the Cityzens during the final years of his career and it remains to be seen whether Haaland links up with the club this summer.

The Mancunian giants are eager to sign a top-class striker with Sergio Aguero potentially leaving the club when his contract expires in June.
