Arsenal willing to pay €60m for Martin Odegaard
Arsenal are reportedly determined to re-sign Martin Odegaard on a permanent basis from Real Madrid during the summer transfer window.
The Norwegian joined the club on loan from Los Blancos in January and he has netted two goals from 11 appearances.
Odegaard has also played in the build-up of other goals and manager Mikel Arteta has been hugely impressed by his impact.
According to Don Balon, the north London giants are eager to keep Odegaard and they could negotiate a permanent deal for his services.
It is unclear whether Los Blancos will sanction his departure, but it is claimed that the Gunners could test their resolve with a €60m bid.
Odegaard has been a huge influence on the Gunners attack since his arrival and Arteta recently heaped praise on his work rate.
Over the past few months, the 22-year-old has recorded more pressures than any other player within the Gunners ranks.
It has been reported that the Norwegian would prefer to stay with the Gunners rather than warming the bench at the Bernabeu.
