Georginio Wijnaldum speaks on his Liverpool future
Netherlands international Georginio Wijnaldum has said that he has no updates regarding his future with Liverpool.
The Dutchman has registered more than 225 appearances for the Reds, but he could leave the club for free this summer.
His current deal expires at the end of June and talks over a renewal have stalled with the Reds reluctant to meet his demands.
Hence, Wijnaldum has been widely tipped to sign for Barcelona, but he has refused to give any clue regarding his next move.
Speaking to NOS, he said that there is no news regarding his contract situation with the Reds and has nothing to update about.
"You will always talk about those things and about my future. But as I have said on other occasions, I have no news yet," he said.
Wijnaldum has been tipped for a reunion with former Netherlands boss Ronald Koeman at the Camp Nou this summer.
It was recently claimed that he had signed a pre-contract with the Catalan giants, but that was dismissed by Mundo Deportivo.
