Manchester United could reportedly use Bruno Fernandes to convince compatriot Pedro Neto to join them during the summer transfer window.

Neto is currently in his second campaign with Wolverhampton Wanderers where he has stood out with five goals and five assists.

His progress has caught the eye of the Red Devils and Football Insider claims that they will look to lure him through Fernandes.

Fernandes and Neto have shared the field for Portugal and United are hopeful that the latter will join them due to his countryman's presence in Manchester.

United had the opportunity to sign Neto on the cheap five years ago, but they passed on the chance after he failed to impress in a trial.

It is now claimed that Wolves could demand £50m to part ways with the forward, who made his competitive debut for Portugal last night.

Neto has also been linked with the Gunners in the past, but they no longer seem to be prioritising a new winger.
