Hakimi set for Arsenal move?

Arsenal are reportedly prepared to step up their interest in signing Achraf Hakimi from Inter Milan ahead of the summer.

Hector Bellerin has been the Gunners' regular right-back over the past few years, but he has recently fallen down the pecking order.

The likes of Calum Chambers and Cedric Soares have been preferred ahead of him recently, and he appears on his way out.

According to Calciomercato.it, the Gunners have earmarked Hakimi as the potential replacement for Bellerin this summer.

The Nerazzurri are facing financial concerns amid the pandemic, and they may need to offload few stars to balance their books.

They are said to value Hakimi at around €50m, and the Gunners are reportedly prepared to meet the price to sign him.

Hakimi joined the Nerazzurri from Real Madrid last summer, and he has since registered six goals and six assists from 35 games.

While he can play in both full-back positions with ease, but he has played in the right wing-back role for the Nerazzurri this season.
