Arsenal set asking price for Lucas Torreira?
Arsenal have reportedly set their asking price for midfielder Lucas Torreira ahead of the forthcoming transfer window.
The 25-year-old was deemed surplus to requirements last summer, and he was loaned out to Atletico Madrid for the campaign.
The move has not worked out as planned with the Uruguayan barely playing in the starting line-up this season.
Torreira recently requested the Gunners to loan him out to Boca Juniors as he wants to be close to his family after the death of his mother.
However, according to ESPN, the club are only looking for permanent offers for Torreira, and won't sell him for less than £15m.
Torreira made 89 appearances for the Gunners in the previous two seasons. He fell out-of-favour following the project restart last term.
Aside from Matteo Guendouzi was also loaned out last summer to Hertha Berlin, and reports claim that he could be sold as well.
The Gunners are confident of commanding a fee of around £25m for the Frenchman despite his contract expiring in June next year.
