Cristiano Ronaldo wants Manchester United return?
Juventus superstar Cristiano Ronaldo is reportedly open to making the comeback with Manchester United this summer.
The Portuguese built his reputation during his six seasons with United between 2003 and 2009 before he made the move to Real Madrid.
He secured the switch to the Bianconeri in 2018, and the move has been effective with 97 goals scored in all competitions.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Ronaldo is assessing his future with the Bianconeri on the cusp of relinquishing their league title.
A return to Madrid has already been ruled out by Los Blancos president Florentino Perez, but United could be open to signing him.
Ronaldo has urged his agent Jorge Mendes to negotiate a possible deal, though his wages could prove a major stumbling block.
Ronaldo is willing to take a pay-cut, but he would still command a Premier League record salary of around £383,000-a-week.
It remains to be seen whether United will meet his salary requirements. Juventus could sell him for around £26m this summer.
