Lukaku set for Chelsea return?

Chelsea have reportedly identified Romelu Lukaku as one of their top targets for the summer transfer window.

The Blues are expected to bolster their attack this summer despite their spending spree last year.

With Timo Werner misfiring upfront, they are lining up a new striker, and have been linked with Andrea Belotti.

However, according to German outlet SportBild, Lukaku is one of their top targets for the next transfer window.

Lukaku was contracted to the Blues between 2011 and 2014, but made just 15 appearances in all competitions.

Since leaving them, he has starred for Everton, Manchester United and he is currently leading Inter Milan's title charge.

The 27-year-old has bagged 21 league goals for the Nerazzurri this term, who are 11 points clear at the top of the table.

Inter are on course to lift the Scudetto after more than a decade, but they could still offload their star player this summer.

The club have loses amounting to £135m, and they could cash in on Lukaku for around £120m at the end of the campaign.
