Chelsea striker prepared to seek summer exit
Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud is prepared to pursue a fresh challenge away from the club this summer.
The Frenchman has struggled for game time since Thomas Tuchel replaced Frank Lampard as the manager in January.
His current deal with the Blues expires in June, and Calciomercato claims that he won't consider extending his stay.
Juventus and Inter Milan are long-term admirers of Giroud, and a move to the latter would see him reunited with Antonio Conte.
Despite his reduced playing time, Giroud has impressed this term with 11 goals, including six from seven Champions League outings.
He has played just 13 minutes of Premier League football since the beginning of March, and was not picked in the squad today.
The Blues secured a 1-0 triumph over West Ham United. Timo Werner led the line, and scored the only goal in the 43rd minute.
The club are now three points clear of the Hammers in fourth, and look in a good position to qualify for the Champions League.
