West Ham United and AC Milan want Chelsea star

West Ham United and AC Milan are among the clubs interested in signing Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud, Eurosport claims.

The Frenchman has had another good season with the west London club, scoring 11 goals across all competitions.

However, he has hardly started games over the past three months, and is expected to leave the club this summer.

His current contract concludes in June, and he has no intention of renewing his contract with the Premier League outfit.

It is now reported that Milan are leading the race for the World Cup winner with the assurance of Champions League football.

The Hammers also have an interest in the former Arsenal man, and they are hopeful of convincing him to stay in London.

David Moyes' side will be playing Europa League football next term after finishing sixth in the Premier League standings.

At present, they have just one specialist striker in the squad in Michail Antonio after offloading Sebastien Haller in January.
