Arsenal striker wanted by Premier League duo
Watford and Brighton & Hove Albion are interested in signing Arsenal striker Eddie Nketiah during the forthcoming transfer window.
The 22-year-old made 30 appearances for the north London club last season, but he averaged just 44 minutes per game.
With just 13 months left on his contract, he appears set to leave the club with interest from the Hornets and Seagulls.
The Hornets recently secured promotion from the Championship, and they are on the search for a new striker this summer.
The Seagulls, on the other hand, misfired upfront for most of last season, and believe Nketiah would be an upgrade.
Brighton could have the advantage in the player's pursuit due to the Gunners' long-term interest in midfielder Yves Bissouma.
Bissouma is valued at around £40m, and the price tag could be reduced by half with Nketiah acting as a makeweight.
Nketiah is expected to make a final decision regarding his future. The Gunners have no plans of extending his deal.
