Chelsea handed boost in signing Erling Haaland
Chelsea have been handed a boost in signing Borussia Dortmund star Erling Braut Haaland in the future.
The Blues are looking for an elite striker, and it has been reported that they are preparing a club-record move for Haaland.
However, there is no indication from Dortmund that he could be sold, and the Blues may have to wait for 12 months.
According to The Telegraph, Haaland is excited by the prospect of joining the Blues when the opportunity arises.
He will be available for £66m next summer due to a buy-out clause. The Blues could be favourites to sign him.
Haaland had an exceptional 2021/22 season for Dortmund, registering 41 goals and 12 assists from 41 appearances.
He has also been linked with Manchester City and Manchester United. The latter came close to signing him in January last year.
United were interested in landing him from Red Bull Salzburg, but the deal fell through after refusing to include a buy-out clause.
