Manchester United make opening bid for Jadon Sancho
Manchester United have made an opening bid for Borussia Dortmund attacker Jadon Sancho, Bild reports.
The Red Devils were keen on signing the England international last summer, but they were put off by the €120m price tag.
According to Bild, the club have now revived their interest in Sancho, and have made an opening offer of €75m.
Dortmund have decided to lower their asking price for Sancho, but they are still said to demand around €95m.
On top of this, they are likely to include achievable add-ons. United are expected to make a fresh bid soon.
The club are keen to sign Sancho before the European Championships, but it appears highly unlikely at the moment.
England start their Euro 2020 campaign against Croatia on Sunday, and Sancho is unlikely to undergo his medical.
Even if United reach an agreement with Dortmund, they may have to wait until the end of the tournament to sign Sancho.
