Ramos won't join Manchester United

Manchester United are unlikely to make a contract offer to former Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos, as per ESPN.

The Spaniard recently left Los Blancos after 16 seasons, and he is reportedly keen on a move to the Premier League.

United are long-term admirers of the 35-year-old, but ESPN reports that they are unlikely to make an approach.

The club are keen on landing an elite centre-back, but they are prioritising a move for Ramos' ex-teammate Raphael Varane.

Meanwhile, they have a grudge with Ramos, who previously turned down multiple opportunities to join the club.

Former United boss Jose Mourinho was eager to bring him to Old Trafford, but he ended up extending his deal at Madrid.

Aside from United, Manchester City and Chelsea have also been linked with Ramos since parting ways with Los Blancos.

Paris Saint-Germain are also an option for the Spaniard. It has been reported that he has a three-year contract offer on the table.
