Southampton, Watford want Arsenal midfielder?
Southampton and Watford are reportedly lining up offers for Arsenal midfielder Ainsley Maitland-Niles.
The Englishman has made over 100 appearances for the Gunners, but he has largely played in the full-back positions.
He sees his future in midfield, and in a recent interview with The Telegraph, he admitted that he could leave the club for good.
According to The Mirror, Southampton and Watford are interested in the 23-year-old, who was recently on loan at West Brom.
The Gunners were close to selling him to Wolverhampton Wanderers for £20m last summer before Mikel Arteta blocked the move.
Arteta is unlikely to do the same this summer. It is claimed that the Gunners could sell him if they receive a similar offer.
Maitland-Niles made his international debut for England at the beginning of last season after a fine run of club form.
His career appeared on a high, but he soon fell out-of-favour for the right-back role with Hector Bellerin starting regularly.
